It is hard to imagine contemporary Afro-Cuban percussion minus these three legendary congueros. All three play multiple congas here, in a classic setting of tres, flute, bass, bongos, claves and vocals. The richly layered mix provides a complex foundation for an intricate sound reminiscent of Arsenio Rodrmguez at his best.
